Course Description
The event examines the dynamics of Presentation and how individuals can achieve more through direct and clear communication. The course lasts for 2 days and includes the following:

Course Objectives
By the end of the course the delegates will have demonstrated and practised techniques for making effective Presentations. On completion of the course the delegates will have:
- Defined "communication"
- Identified ways of developing interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated and practised techniques for making effective presentations
- Prepared, planned and delivered a presentation
- Formulated a personal action plan for future presentations
Intended Audience
The event is recommended for those who wish to overcome difficulties and anxieties experienced when speaking formally and informally, and who wish to create greater personal impact with every audience.
Course Outline
The course is highly participative and provides a maximum amount of involvement. Delegates are given the opportunity to practise each of the skills covered by the course. Extensive use is made of closed-circuit television. The course relies on peer and instructor feedback so that delegates can draw up a profile of their strengths and weaknesses. Throughout the course each delegate will demonstrate how to overcome or compensate for weaknesses and how to take advantage of their strengths. The course includes the following topics:
- Communication skills
- Confident speaking
- How to present a convincing case or proposal
- Presenting information effectively
- The use of visual aids
- Confident speaking exercises
- Presenting business proposals
