PRINCE2™ FOUNDATION
Course Description
The event covers the processes, components and techniques included in the PRINCE2™ Project Management Method. The course prepares delegates for the APM Group Foundation exam (included in the course).
The 3 day course includes the following:
- Instructor Led Tuition

- Evening Work
It is essential that delegates allow time for pre-course work
(recommended between 10 - 15 hours).
Course Objectives
The course is designed to enable delegates to:
- Recognise the factors which enable successful projects
- Describe the main PRINCE2™ components, processes & techniques
- Describe the key PRINCE2™ management products
- Recognise the PRINCE2™ terminology
Intended Audience
The event is recommended for team leaders, project assurance staff and
project support staff responsible for managing or supporting projects
using PRINCE2™. The course is suitable for all staff working on any type
of project.
Previous experience of PRINCE2™ is not necessary.

Course Outline
This course is accredited by the APM Group
The course explains how the PRINCE2™ components, processes and
techniques are used in a project environment. It also includes related
items such as planning and risk assessment techniques. The event
includes group practical work and feedback that relates to the PRINCE2™
approach. Sample Foundation exam papers are also used as practical
exercises to provide the delegates with some experience of the style of
questions that are used in the exam.
Examination and Certification
The Foundation Examination is a one-hour closed book multiple-choice paper. All successful delegates will receive the PRINCE2™ Foundation certificate from the APM Group.

Your Instructor
