Pre-course
There is some pre-course study on our Foundation courses, but this is deliberately limited in quantity and is low-key. It is presented in the form of a handbook, which is a source of reference to all aspects of creating, implementing or using a Project or Support Office. It is emphasised that you only need to read this material, not learn it.
Logistics
WPM despatch all pre-course materials direct to your delegates in advance of the course's commencement date . All courseware is delivered direct by courier to your chosen venue. Delegates sitting the Foundation exam are informed of their results during their course.
Your Instructor
All WPM trainers are industry experts who have recognised experience at both the theoretical and practical levels in many business sectors. This dual experience is essential to guide delegates through Best Practice case scenarios during all course sessions. In addition they:
- Teach at a pace with which all delegates are comfortable
- Avoid or explain the use of project management jargon
- Anticipate and handle resentment (“I don’t want to be here!” ) – to prepare for this we ask for delegate roles and backgrounds in advance of courses that we run
- Are approved by the Information Systems Examination Board (ISEB) to deliver the events
Pass Rates
Delegates attending our accredited PPSO courses have achieved outstanding successes in the ISEB examinations. Our pass rates have historically outperformed the pass rate achieved nationally pass rate, boosted by the many courses where we have achieved a 100% pass rate . An exceptional pass rate alleviates the requirement for individuals to re-sit the examination and therefore saves time and money, providing an excellent return on the investment.
