PRINCE2 Training

In order to gain PRINCE2 Practitioner status you must pass the Practitioner exam and display that you understand the PRINCE2 theories and realise how best to put them into action. The PRINCE2 Practitioner exam requires delegates to show that they can apply the principles of PRINCE2 to a given scenario. On passing the Practitioner exam the delegate would become a Registered PRINCE2 Practitioner which needs to be re-registered on a 3-5 year cycle. The re-reg exam is 1 hour in length, which differs from the Practitioner exam which is 3 hours in length. The exam is multiple choice and uses the Blooms Taxonomy educational objectives. The pass mark for the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam is 180 or more out of a possible 360 marks.

PRINCE2 Training Qualifications

PRINCE2 training courses help to lay a strong basis in the components, processes and techniques used. No prior PRINCE2 training is necessary to embark on one of these courses, but those looking to achieve PRINCE2 Practitioner status via a 2 or 3 day Practitioner course should have first attended one of the Foundation courses. The PRINCE2 training Foundation exam requires the delegate to have an understanding of the PRINCE2 terminology in order to work in a PRINCE2 project environment. The Foundation exam is 1 hour in length and is multiple choice. The pass mark required for the Foundation exam is 38 or more out of a possible 75 marks.
